There are three basic steps to going live on TikTok. The first is selecting a title and cover photo for your stream. For your cover, you can use any image from your camera roll. Your live stream title should be short and to the point. You'll also need a few other things. These include a phone camera that is stable and that can be used for prolonged periods. Pro tip- make sure your phone battery is charged before you start your TikTok Livestream. You'll also need a tripod and a ring light. This will help keep your phone in place and provide good, clear light.
You can also choose to record a promotional video for your live stream, which will be accessed on your profile once you go live. This way, users can opt-in to receive reminders when you're about to go live. You can also schedule a live event for your followers to attend. This is not required but helps increase viewership.
